Golden Jubilee
On the 3rd June 2002, along with much of the Nation, Coverdale Avenue celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee. This time the chosen charity was the Bolton Coronary Care Unit. Gazebos were erected in the street and despite a wet time setting up the weather cleared up and the afternoon was enjoyed by all.
